The bar was a solution to the recurring problem of what to buy for the parent who has everything.
A dark underused cupboard 10 years ago, it now resembles the stylish nook from which the steward at your London club might serve your guests aperitifs.
Your hotel minibar, without the price gouging.
Originally simply fitted out with shelves and a worktop as a surprise birthday gift, wallpaper & the fridge were added over subsequent years alongside much other bar paraphernalia, now removed.
Much better than socks.
Sadly we will be taking away the stock (we're not crazy) & the fridge, but we will leave the magnificent wallpaper and the shelves & countertop for you to replenish with your libation of choice.
Never in the history of property sales has such a humble cupboard been so massively overhyped.
