This balcony stretches across the whole of the double width apartment on the north, ocean, side. It has great uninterrupted views across St Ives Bay towards St Ives Harbour, Godrevy Lighthouse and beyond. It has sliding patio doors from both the lounge and dining room. During the 2021 G7 it gave great views down into the Carbis Bay Complex to watch word leaders coming and going.
Whilst giving uninterrupted sea views over the lawns, taking a step back from the balcony rail means that it is actually very private and not overlooked. We've enjoyed it as great place to enjoy pre-dinner drinks or alfresco meals on summer days and evenings.
If you like a good storm then in winter it's a great wave watching spot, but much warmer from inside.

The sun starts to hit this sheltered south facing balcony in the early morning (picture below) & quickly comes round to make it a great sun-trap through the day. The low walls mean that if you are seated or on a sun-bed then you are not over looked.
It's been used as a work area and for alfresco meals.
